Osvaldo Fattoruso (Montevideo, May 12, 1948, ibid, 29 July 2012) was an influential Uruguayan musician, considered one of the best drummers in Latin America, one responsible for the introduction of rock in Latin America, and the merger between jazz, rock and African rhythms.
